Planning a trip to Rwanda
The questions we are asked most. Where an answer depends on a rule that changes — permits, visas, age limits — we say how we will confirm it rather than quoting a figure that may be stale.
Three days covers the gorillas and nothing else. Five gets you gorillas plus Akagera's savannah. Seven is the classic western circuit with Nyungwe and Lake Kivu. Ten covers the whole country without rushing. Most people find seven is the point where the trip stops feeling like a dash.
